Words from a Soldier...

After reading the news, I am upset at the economy, I am upset at the New York Times, I am upset at some of my peers that do not do their research and open their mouth indiscriminately, I am upset at the politicians, I am upset at the Democrats, and I am upset at the Republicans.

Yeap, that’s about right. Like Glenn Beck likes to say, “I have blood shooting out of my eyes.”

Let’s start with the economy.

1. Instead of touting plausible solutions (real solutions) the media just keeps tying to scare us and tell us what we already know and did not do: don’t spend more than you have, save money if you can, ride the market, and hopefully you will be ok.
2. How about try to get out of welfare? Get a job, try to pay your bills, do not create new bills, try to balance your budget, stay off drugs, alcohol, Starbucks, pedicures, manicures, and cigarettes, etc.

The New York Times. Hey editor… I know you caught a lot of hell for the article about killer Soldiers, next time, read the article and ensure that at least makes sense.

My peers, Soldiers and military at large, yes I do not want to go to Iraq again, I have being there three times, but if it is needed, we have to go. If you have not deployed, quit whining. We are doing a lot of good things over there, the news just don’t like to give us credit. So what, if they do not have the guts, we do. Let’s prove it by doing the right thing. Before criticizing our Government and Chain of Command, read your oath of enlistment. If you do not like it, request to get out of the military.

Politicians: here is my two cents, yes I belief I earned the right to speak my mind. I fought for our Democracy. Stop the double talk. Let your “yes” be “yes” and your “no” be “no” (quote from Marshal Sylver). Take responsibility for your opinions and beliefs. Tell us what is really in your heart and stop trying to be a motivational speaker. Tell us your plan, we will decide whether it would work or not. By the way, raising taxes does not work. Giving money away does not work. Not enforcing our sovereignty does not work. Not protecting our Nation does not work. Not protecting our borders does not work. STOP PANDERING TO THOSE WHO HATE THE UNITED STATES. You swore to protect and defend the Constitution just like me. Just do the right thing.

Democrat party. If you continue spouting socialist doctrine, then change your name to Socialist Party. Otherwise, same thing applies, defend the United States at all cost, or present your resignation, go live somewhere else.

Republicans. Defend our Nation. You made an oath to this Nation. Do not sell us out. Go back to the Conservative Values that work. I am sure that Hannity or Rush or Levin or my favorite Ann Coulter would be more than happy to remind you if you have forgotten. Or just review my blog often, I will remind you.

Fellow citizens, go to the Heritage Foundation web site (the link is to the right of this posting). Request your FREE copy of the Constitution and read it. Do not skip voting this year if you are eligible. Ensure that you know what the basic beliefs of your candidate are and also what their track record is. If their track record does not support what they are saying right now, chances are, they are just pandering to the voters, pandering to you, and when they get elected, as most of them do, they will forget their promises and do whatever.

Think, research, study, and act. “We the people of the United States…” is who can fix this Nation of ours.
