In defense of Romney (Thanks New York Times)

The Republican Party has a line up of candidates that “make you go huuuuuummmm!
On one hand you have two candidates whose ideology is akin to a misplaced Democratic candidate, (Huckabee and McCain), on another one you had three candidates that sort of understood the Republican Party platform, (Giuliani, Romney, and Thompson), and then you have Ron Paul. Yes, I know, Thompson dropped out.

It is obvious who the media darlings are, Huckabee and McCain. I have stated in previous blogs my undying respect for Senator McCain; however, many have seen through the veil of deceit. Just look at the Senator’s voting record. Yes, he has supposedly seeing the light in immigration. I just do not buy it; my opinion. WE NEED A PRESIDENT WHO IS STRONG IN INMIGRATION. That is not McCain. That is not Huckabee either.

The peace aura between McCain and Huckabee makes me start thinking if they are trying to position themselves to be President and Vice president. Yickes, not good.

The great one Mark Levin was commenting yesterday that, and I agree even if I do not use those strong words, “if you are so stupid that you do not recognize that immigration is a problem” and that amnesty is not the answer, and that you “need not bring the terrorist housed at Guantanamo Bay jail to the Continental United States” YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO BE PRESIDENT.

Governor Huckabee is a Democrat in wolf’s clothes, my opinion.

The New York Times asserts that Romney is the most disliked of the Republican candidates. Think about it. You can not please everybody at the same time.

1. Nobody likes to be signaled as somebody that makes mistakes. Governor Romney’s ads just point out what you can see or find if you research the voting record of the other candidates. Either way, the Democrats will post the same ads once the primaries are over. So obviously, the other candidates will loathe Romney. BUT WE NEED TO KNOW THE INFORMATION THAT ROMNEY IS SHOWING. That is how we can really pick the right Republican candidate.
2. The king of the hill is the one who gets tackle. Ok, McCain is ahead, but he is portrait by the media as the savior of the Republican Party and the good guy. When was the last time that you saw the media singing the praises of anything that the republicans did? That to me is suspicious. I try not to be a conspiracy theorist, but this smells.
3. I refuse to be told who to vote for by the media.

I continue to affirm that the United States need a President who knows the economy and understand the Republican Principles as delineated by Former President Reagan. The only two of the line up that meet these requirements are Rudi and Romney.

We need a President who understand that he or she is the President of the United States and not the president of any other Nation. Again, only Rudi and Romney fit the bill. We need someone who can be a strong President and stand against the terrorists of the world, to include Hugo Chavez, drug dealers, drug cartels, gangs (local and foreign), and of course, the cave dwellers club or Osama’s fans. Again, the only ones that fit the bill on all counts are Rudi and Romney. Do we see a pattern here?

We need to start reading between the lines of what the media is telling us. Do our own research. If we do not understand, then ask questions. Just do not ask one person, ask several, analyze, and then make up your mind.

Think America. We are in trouble. LET’S FIX IT.
