Message to our Politicians

A Border Patrol Agent killed, ran over by a person who was illegally in the U. S., Americans kidnapped at leisure on the border with Mexico, reporters too scared for their lives to report what is going on in the border…

I have being in Baghdad several times. And right now, I’m ashamed to say that is safer for an American who follows the basic precautions in Iraq, than for an American Citizen on the border with Mexico.

What can I say, we do not usually worry about what is going on until is too late. Look at the sub prime lenders debacle. We kept borrowing and purchasing as long as the banks kept giving us money usually without worrying about how we were going to pay. The result is a slowing economy, and a recession looming in the horizon. In the 90’s, the WorldCom fraud cases happened because people tend to accept good news without asking why or what is going to happen next. The result? People in jail for fraud.

We tend to belief in the goodness of all human beings. At least I do. So when people complaint about illegal immigrants, our soft hearts think on hard working humble peasants that want what everybody wants, peace, a job, and being able to feed our families.

What we fail to see is not the goodness of the hard working honest Mexican family. What we fail to see is the evil of the drug dealers and those who try to benefit and exploit human suffering. It is those who we do not want on our soil. It is those for whom our doors need to remain closed.

But how are we going to identify and help those who want to make an honest living from the predators?

We have laws. Let’s enforce them. We do not need new laws. Let’s stop the stupidity. Lets ensure that our politicians know, that the American people is a Nation that follows the laws of our land, and that we DO NOT TOLERATE POLITICIANS that talk with forked tongue.

Lets send a message to our politicians that we expect them to enforce the laws on the books, and protect our sovereignty. Every elected official swears to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. Not the Constitution of any other country or Nation. Otherwise, they can go serve on whatever Nation owns their loyalty.
