Like every other conservative in the United States, my heart has being torn to pieces over the past few years. Yeah, yeah, I know it sounds melodramatic. But I needed an introductory line. And it is very hard to explain the many convoluted thoughts and feelings expressed by all conservative talk show hosts over the past months. From Inraham to Levin to Limbaugh to Hannity… every single one of them has done their best to sort the turmoil within the Republican Party.
First of all, our party prides itself to follow our conscience, and do what we consider to be the right thing for the country. When Democrats give their politician free passes every time they get caught in a scandal, the Republican Party ensures that those who bring shame to the Nation are quickly taken out of their positions of influence.
We belief in the same things that our founding fathers believed. Government is the servant of the people, not the other way around. So the main purpose of government is to protect the Nation, and provide as many opportunities for the people to use their God given talents to succeed. And that means, getting out of the way of progress.
We also belief that the money that you make belongs to you. So we belief in a hands off your money kind of government. In this government, you give just a small amount to ensure its continuity; but the rest belongs to you. When you pay more than one third of everything you make, in my opinion, that is highway robbery. Our tax system is so convoluted that most Americans have to hire someone to tell them how much to pay. People like to assume that rich people do not pay their fair share. That is rubbish. The poor in the United States do not pay taxes, or pay a marginal sum, while the fortunate that work hard and try to realize the American dream, see their hard earned money squandered by the government and then has to put up with greedy politicians that have no knowledge of economics trying to redistribute the money that they have work hard to earn.
We do belief that our Constitution was the greatest social experiment in history. It works, and needs to be protected. So we ask of our politicians to protect it. Not to allow other Nations to try and curtail our freedoms and way of life. Our sovereignty is to be protected against all enemies foreign and domestic.
Another tenant of our Nation is the enforcement of our laws. Hey are in the books, lets use them. When a Candidate for President says that giving illegal immigrants drivers licenses or Identification cards should not done because brings them out of the dark and makes it easy for our law enforcement officials to find them and process them, WE HAVE A PROBLEM. Our candidates for president should be supporting our law enforcement agencies, not working against them. By the way, it was Senator Clinton the one who utter those treacherous words.
And paraphrasing the great one Mark Levin, if you do not have the smarts to understand these basic tenants of the Republican Party, you do not deserve to run for President, let alone be President of the greatest Nation in the world.
